The International Polish Music Competition 2023 is expected to take place this year for the third time in the week

of July 2-9, 2023. Applications can be submitted until February 15, 2023.

The competition, which has been held every two years since 2019, is held to expose Polish music to the world, as well as to promote

musicians who expose the Polish work.

The purpose of the competition, which includes the tremendous work of dozens of Polish composers with an emphasis on those who

created in the 19th and 20th centuries, is to bring the Polish cultural heritage to the consciousness of wide audiences.

The competition is held under the leadership of the Polish National Institute of Music and under the auspices of the Minister of Culture

and National Heritage.

The competition is open to musicians regardless of age or country of origin, in two performance categories – pianists and chamber
