Shevah Weiss, the former ambassador of Israel to Poland, an activist in the relations between the countries and a close friend of the Polish people and of Poland, has passed away
On February 5, 2023, the funeral ceremonies of Shewach Weiss’ took place.
A letter of condolence from the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda was read out by Minister Wojciech Kolarski.
Jarosław Sellin, Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage, was also present at the ceremony.
The delegations of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Institute Tel Aviv and the Israel-Poland Friendship Association, paid tribute to the memory of the late Shewach Weiss.
We will never forget the contribution to the development of Polish-Israeli relations and the friendship that Shewach Weiss had for Poles.
