Three films qualified for the International Main Competition:

• “Dog Days Are Over” directed by Kinga Pudełek, Łódź Film School (2024).

• “Take Me to Her” directed by Bartłomiej Błaszczyński, Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice (2024).

• “Tennis Mortis” directed by Michał Łukowicz, Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice (2024).

The award in this competition went to the German production “Skin on Skin” directed by Simon Schneckenburger (Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, Animationsinstitut). The Polish films were very well received, with particular recognition going to Bartłomiej Błaszczyński’s “Take Me to Her”, which stood out among festival participants.

The fourth Polish film competed in the International Video Art and Experimental Film Competition:

• “River” directed by Izabela Zubrycka, Łódź Film School (2024).

The winner in this category was “A TechnoBotanical Tale” by Lior Yeger.

The International Student Film Festival in Tel Aviv (TISFF) is one of the largest student film festivals in the world and is considered one of the most important in its field. The festival hosts hundreds of students, lecturers, and invited guests from leading global film circles for a week of screenings and cultural events in Tel Aviv.

TISFF supports and promotes young filmmakers taking their first steps in the film world – with over 200 short films from more than 30 countries competing. Alongside the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, festival partners included the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv Cinematheque, GO2 Films, City Museum, Lev Cinematheque, Teder, Utopia Camera, Beit Radical, the French Institute, the Romanian Institute, Shablim Film, Disney+, and HOT Cinema.
