The founding idea was to establish an institute where university graduates from many different European countries could study and live together in preparation for international careers.

The long-lasting mission at the College of Europe in Natolin has always been to prepare students to think beyond disciplinary boundaries, beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe.
