Every year, more than 70% of College of Europe students are granted partial or full scholarships by their government, the private sector or the College of Europe itself thanks to the support of EU institutions.
The College of Europe, established on the initiative of the Hague Congress, dates back to 1949 and is the oldest postgraduate institute of European studies. The founding idea was to establish an institute where university graduates from many different European countries could study and live together in preparation for international careers.
The long-lasting mission at the College of Europe in Natolin has always been to prepare students to think beyond disciplinary boundaries, beyond preconceptions, and to encourage them to build bridges and embrace a wider perspective on Europe.
