Atom String Quartet – one of the most intriguing string quartets in the world – will perform in Berlin as part of the autumn tour „Seifert Night”. The project was created in collaboration with the Zbigniew Seifert Foundation.

During the concert, we will hear compositions by the quartet’s musicians, including pieces from their latest album UNIVERSUM, as well as works by outstanding Polish composers – Zbigniew Seifert, Krzysztof Penderecki, Henryk Wieniawski, and Fryderyk Chopin – arranged by the ensemble for an improvising string quartet.

This year’s „Seifert Night” tour is another step in the ensemble’s long-standing collaboration with the foundation, following many outstanding projects in Poland and abroad. In 2017, the foundation also released the quartet’s fourth album – SEIFERT.
