In 2013 the Polish Institute in Kyiv together with the “Muzychna Ukraina” publishing house started the 12 volume series of piano works of the great Polish composer Frédéric Chopin. Materials have been prepared in cooperation with the “Polish Musical Publishing House” and are based on the unique full collection of all Chopin’s works revised by Jan Ekier and published in Poland in 2010 on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the composer’s birth, which is based on all available sources that were analyzed using advanced scientific methods11.  

Last year the “Studies” (ор. 10, 25, dbop . 36), “Waltzes” ( op . 18, 34, 42, 64, posthumous editions), and “Preludes” (ор. 28, 45) were published in Ukraine. In 2014 “Polonaises”, “Nocturnes”, and “Ballads” will be published…
