Both young artists and interested persons can take part in Waldemar Tatarczuk’s master classes. Sessions (4 hours/4 days) will include the theoretical part where main concepts of the performance art will be defined (time, space, rhythm, character). There will be also the practical part. As early as in the first session each participant will try to prepare their own work, first by carrying out tasks and then by proposing their own themes. Rest assured that work with Waldemar will not turn into a boring lecture. To exemplify his words, the lecturer uses his video films collection gathered through many years. We will learn the art of performance by analyzing the works of the best authors of the world: Marina Abramović, Esther Ferrer, Alastair MacLennan, Zbigniew Warpechowski. The master classes will be concluded by public exhibition of prepared works. Participation in the final presentation is optional.
