Polish writers at the International Literary Festival in Lviv

Literature, as well as any art, has no borders in its expression, themes and characters, but external or internal factors have been always imposing its limits on it. The goal of the festival is to show the possibilities of erasing the borders of imagination, space, and location. Witold Szabłowski will present his book “Dancing Bears”, participate in the main panel discussion “The Limits of Borders”, speak about his travels at the “Travels” thematic space, and will be the main guest of the “Non-Fiction” space together with Karl-Markus Gauß (Austria), where the directions and issues of the genre will be discussed. Jacek Dehnel will present the Ukrainian translation of his book “Lala”, and art critic Krystyna Czerni will present her study “The Bat in the Temple” about Jerzy Nowosielski and give a lecture as well.

Polish program consists of numerous readings, literary meetings and other events. Witold Szabłowski, Krystyna Czerni, Jacek Denhel, Ziemowit Szczerek, Sławomir Shuty, Piotr Marecki, Joanna Lech, Robert Maciej, Jarosław Mikołajewski, Piotr Czerski, Wojciech Kudyba, Marсin Ogdowski, Jacek Bierut, Klara Nowakowska, Karol Maliszewski, Tomasz Majeran, Krzysztof Śliwka, Janusz Leon Wiśniewski, and Wojciech Pestka are to take part in 11th International Literary Festival.
