#PolishCultureKatchUp – Released Sounds

Musicians Maciej and Mateusz Rychły share a positive message and give you a taste of their unique music in a short video.

Cultural anthropologist and multi-instrumentalist, Maciej Rychły is a world renown composer, arranger and writer. Probably best known for his work with the Jorgi Quartet, Song of the Goat Theatre and most recently scoring one of the key episodes of Michael Hirst’s Tv show The Vikings. 

Taking inspiration from the classical paintings which include detailed musical notation, Maciej together with his son, guitar virtuoso, Mateusz Rychły and baroque music specialist Elizabeth Seitz created Released Sounds – an audio-visual project which takes you on a journey into the history of European culture. We had a pleasure to co-organise Released Sounds performance at the National Gallery in London, in November last year.
