Conference: Building the Polish Army in the Middle East 1941-42 (8 Oct)

International conference dedicated to popularising knowledge about the development of the Polish Army in the Middle East during WWII.

8 October, Polish Consulate, Bouverie Street London

The Polish Heritage Society UK is holding its 9th International Conference on Saturday 8th October.

The conference will explore the development of the Polish Army in the Middle East during WWII and role of the Polish International Carpathian Rifle Brigade in the defence of Tobruk.

The conference will feature leading historians in their fields including:

Professor Anthony Polonsky, Dr Paul Latawski, department of War studies and Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and Dr Andrzej Suchcitz, Polish Institute and Sikorski Museum
