On the 21st October POSK are hosting their annual Chopin Festival
After the success of last year’s Chopin Festival, there were many curtain calls for an encore and so it returns to the Polish Social and Cultural Centre POSK, in London, on Saturday the 21 st October 2023 with an equally captivating programme of exquisite music performed by world class artists and stimulating talks by exceptionally qualified speakers. Celebrating the unique musical genius of the Polish born Fryderyk Chopin, the Festival will draw those attending even closer to the elegant maestro. His compositions are deserving of every superlative description from the lexicon of praise as they continue to increase in popularity among music lovers around the world.
The gala concert will include performances from Mateusz Borowiak, Alina Bzhezhinska & Margaret Preston who will perform a harp and flute duet, Adam Palma, Bronze ‘Gloria Artis’ winner, and Jakub Kuszlik, the award winning pianist. The Chopin Jazz performance shall be conducted by Stephen Ellery.
Talks discussing How did Chopin Play?, the Pupils of Chopin and Chopin in Majorca will offer stimulating insight into the legend behind the art.
