London International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists 2024 – Finale Gala Concert

This captivating evening at Ognisko Polskie - Polish Hearth offers a unique privilege to hear extremely talented young pianists from all over the world and to encounter prestigious Jury. As an attendee, you will also have a chance to vote yourself to award the Gala Audience Prize.

The final round of the 2024 edition of the London International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists will take place at Ognisko Polskie – the Polish Hearth on Tuesday 5 March 2024.

London International Chopin Competition for Young Pianists was established in 2022 with the cooperation of Ognisko Polskie, Artur Haftman, internationally acclaimed concert pianist and winner of 25 International Competitions, and Jenny Lee, Co – Founder and Director of SIMA Classics. It aims to discover young talent and support them regardless of their financial backgrounds as well as provide competitors with further opportunities to show their talent and develop their musical careers.

The Jury includes, among others, the Head of Keyboard at the Royal College of Music, Prize Winner of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw, President of the Chopin Society UK and professor from the Royal College of Music and Central Conservatory of Music in China.

During the Finale Gala Concert you will hear a repertoire of Chopin pieces from the first prize winning performers from four different age groups:

  • Category A, up to age 11;
  • Category B, up to age 14;
  • Category C, up yo age 16;
  • Category D, up to age 19.

The evening will be concluded by the Jury choosing the Grand Prize Winner for the best overall performance. In addition, attendees will also have a chance to vote to award the Gala Audience Prize. Overall, this musical event promises to be a very enchanting one.
