Ania Goszczyńska (Illustrator) / Agnieszka Dąbrowska (Painter) / Agata Read (Photographer)
Three Polish-born artists contemplate the concept of liminal space, drawing inspiration from a location that went through significant transformations as well as their own experience of adapting to a new environment.
Working in very different methods, the residency will give an opportunity for creating a new body of work and experiment with the process.
Using painting, photography, prints, and experimental techniques artists will reflect on the ever-changing nature of their surroundings.
Settled in St. Leonards on Sea/Hastings for over a decade, the artists get together to collaborate creatively on this exploration of their own experience and the cultural transformation of St. Leonards.
