Ewa Farna London Concert @ 229 VENUE

Popular Polish-Czech singer Ewa Farna returns to London to perform her first concert in the city in 8 years.

19th October, 7:30pm, 229 Club, 229 Great Portland Street, London

Ewa Farna is a Polish-Czech singer, producer and songwriter.

She comes from Vendryně, a village on the border between the Czech Republic and Poland. Ewa is Polish by nationality, has Czech citizenship and belongs to the local ethnic minority in Český Těšín.

At the age of 13 year, she debuted with the single Měls me vůbec rád, which went to the top of the most listened to songs at that time and her eponymous album gained the status of 2x platinum record with more than 70 thousand sold units in one year.

Today she is one of the most successful singers not only in the Czech Republic but also in neighbouring Poland, where she made her debut a year after her Czech debut. She has released 5 Czech and 6 Polish full-length albums, two “Best Of” compilations and even a few live recordings either acoustically or with a symphony orchestra.

In Poland, she received awards at the famous festivals in Opole or Sopot and her single Cicho became the Polish Hit of the Decade.

She has been a judge on several TV singing competitions (Idol, X factor and others) in both Poland and the Czech Republic.

In 2021, she celebrated 15 years in music industry with the release of UMAMI, which, thanks to its fusion of social themes and modern sound, has been described by reviewers as the pop manifesto of the rising generation.

She is married to her former guitarist Martin Chobot, has two children and is one of the most influential personalities on Czech social networks.

Forbes included her in the prestigious “30 under 30”.

In the summer of 2024, she performed two concerts before Ed Sheeran to an audience of around 100, 000 and now, after 8 years, she returns to perform a concert in London.
