Year of Polish Pianists Concert Series

A special series of performances by acclaimed pianists presented by the Chopin Society UK, and supported by the Polish Cultural Institute, as part of the UK/Poland Season 2025.

Dates: April – November 2025, Location: Westminster Cathedral Hall

Presenting some of Poland’s best pianists as part of a unique concert series presented by the Chopin Society UK and opening on the 27th April with a concert by Rafal Blechacz, winner of the 15th International Chopin Piano Competition in 2005. All concerts in the series listed below:

25th May – Lucas Krupinski

22nd June – Anna-Maria Stanczyk

17th August – Andrzej Wiercinski

28th September – Jakub Kuszlik

26th October – Krzysztof Moskalewicz

30th November – Mateusz Borowiak

The upcoming events will open with performances by two established artists.

Polish concert pianist Lucas Krupinski is the winner of the 7th San Marino International Piano Competition and all of its contest prizes – the Audience Award, the Music Critics’ Award, and the Orchestra Award. Lucas is a Steinway Artist, represented by Ludwig van Beethoven Association and Madam Elzbieta Penderecki.

Anna Maria Stanczyk is a co-founder and Artistic Director of the “Powsin International Piano Festival” in Poland celebrating this year its 29th Anniversary. She was awarded Doctorat Honoris Causa from The Puno University, UK and elected visiting Professor of this University.

This series is part of the UK/Poland Season 2025.
