FINDING LARGE MONUMENTS TO BE DESTROYED is a theatre installation piece created by Polish director Nastazja Domaradzka and British Armenian writer Abi Zakarian - Following a sucessful series of in-person workshops, join this online workshop to learn more about the project and have the chance to share your own family history.

30th June, 6:30pm-8:30pm, Online

A 2 hour workshop led by British Armenian Writer Abi Zakarian and Polish Director Nastazja Domaradzka where you’ll learn more about their project FINDING LARGE MONUMENTS TO BE DESTROYED, learn more about Armenian & Polish culture, and have the chance to share about your own family history.

ONLINE and open to all

The discussion will be in English, but we welcome international attendees.

There will be a small amount of preparation, but you will be paid £15 for attending.

FINDING LARGE MONUMENTS TO BE DESTROYED is a theatre installation piece created by Polish director Nastazja Domaradzka and British Armenian writer Abi Zakarian, this piece takes as its starting point an imagined meeting between the two artists’ grandmothers, whose lives were shaped by invasions, war and Western interference but also intersect across themes of resilience, resistance and joy.

FINDING LARGE MONUMENTS TO BE DESTROYED promises an exhilarating, immersive and collective experience for everyone who joins the expedition. Bring something of yourself to leave behind; take something new to carry on with.
