In Short, Europe Film Festival 2025: Opening Doors

Experience the Best of European Short Cinema - Celebrating Diversity, Inclusion & Access at Regent Street Cinema, Nov 7–8!

In Short, Europe 2025: Opening Doors, 7–8 November 2025

Join us for a weekend of striking, boundary-breaking short films from across Europe—stories that open doors to new perspectives, cultures, and voices.

Presented by EUNIC London in partnership with the EU Delegation to the UK, Regent Street Cinema, and the University of Westminster’s School of Media & Communication, this edition celebrates connection, visibility, and creative exchange.

Curated by Lillian Crawford, the programme unfolds across three strands – Sharing Memories, Breaking Boundaries, and Challenging Perspectives – each offering a distinct lens on European cinema today.

Expect:
• A curated lineup of European short films
• Q&As, discussions, and community engagement
• A cross-cultural cinematic showcase for film lovers and curious minds

Poland will be represented by Bloodline, directed by Wojciech Węglarz – a film set along the Poland–Belarus border, where a massive fence stands beside a bison roaming through Europe’s oldest forest.

Watch it on Saturday, 8th Nov in the block Breaking Boundaries. More info here

Location: Regent Street Cinema, London, 307 Regent St., London W1B 2HW

This festival is proudly supported by the Polish Cultural Institute in London and other EUNIC members.
