UK Cinema Release – The Good Boy by Jan Komasa, 20th March

Out in UK Cinemas from 20th March - the first English-language film for Polish director Jan Komasa, starring Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and Anson Boon.

20th March, Cinemas Nationwide

The Good Boy is the first English-language film for Polish director Jan Komasa and stars Stephen Graham, Andrea Riseborough and Anson Boon.

There are also Polish accents in the production team as the film was produced by Jerzy Skolimowski and Jeremy Thomas.

The film follows a volatile 19-year-old, Tommy, whose night out spirals into a chilling journey of captivity and distorted “rehabilitation,” keeping audiences guessing until the final frame.

The screenplay, originally written in Polish (by Bartek Bartosik) and set in Warsaw, was adapted into English by Naqqash Khalid and set in Yorkshire to appeal to a wider audience.
