#PolishCultureKatchUp – Jacek Pawlowski

Children’s books writer, together with his daughter Audrey, share fragments of his debut story ‘The Epic Voyage of Sir Benjamin Sweet’.

Jacek Pawlowski is a technical developer for the NHS and the author of two children books: ‘The Epic Voyage of Sir Benjamin Sweet‘ and ‘Troyski and the Pie-Rats’.

It wasn’t until he became a dad, that Jacek began enjoying making up bedtime stories for his daughter and found a love for writing children’s books.

He published Audrey’s favorite story in November 2018 and has since released two coloring books and more recently, his latest adventure story where he commemorated a much-loved family friend – a ginger cat called Troy. Released in mid-April, ‘Troyski and the Pie-Rats’ is the second in the series. The tale follows the adventures of Troy the ginger cat, a character based on the Pawlowski family’s much-adored feline friend, nicknamed Troyski, who passed away four years ago. Children are able to embark on an adventure with Troy, who explores the world with his best friend and companion Ben.

Jacek said: “Due to the lockdown I finally had time to sit down and finish the new book, along with persistence from my daughter. I’m really happy with the finished result.
