Three Polish Composers
The new year at Ognisko Polskie starts with a talk and concert of music from three Polish composers: Chopin, Paderewski & Szymanowski performed by Dominik Wizjan. Dominik is a young Polish-born classical pianist residing in Copenhagen since 2012. He is a prize-winner of international piano competitions (in Yerevan, Venice, Warsaw, Copenhagen among others). In June 2018, graduated with Master degree (with top grades) from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen in Marianna Shirinyan’s piano class. Shortly after, he got enrolled to the prestigious Advanced Postgraduate Diploma at the same academy. In March 2019, Dominik released his debut CD devoted to Polish piano music.
