The Interphase is a hard bop / groove / contemporary jazz quartet founded in London by Polish pianist Tomasz Zyrmont and British saxohponist Sean Khan.

The international project also features double bass player Henry Gilbert and drumer Filippo Galli.

Their highly original music showcases mostly Tomasz’s compositions complimented with a modern twist on some unusual standards written by the masters.

In their upcoming concert at the House Of St Barnabas, the Quartet will present the listener with a vibrant acoustic setlist inspired by Herbie Hancock’s famous works, exceptionally embodied in harmony and groove with superb energy and contemporary sound.

Members of the group have played/recorded with Azymuth, Hermeto Pascoal, Omar, 4hero, Jim Mullen, Marcos Valle, and many others.

Line up Sean Khan – saxophone, Tomasz Zyrmont – piano, Henry Gilbert – double bass, Filippo Galli – drums.

The evening will be hosted by HOSB resident DJ Harv-inder Singh alongside Senrab & Guest DJs who will be spinning Disco, House, Jazz, Afro, Latin & Brazilian vibes!
