📍 5th & 10th October, Unmoored (UK, co-production Sweden & Poland)

The ordered life of a TV presenter threatens to unravel when she finally confronts her domineering husband about yet another scandalous accusation. A bold adaptation of Håkan Nesser’s 2013 thriller The Living and the Dead in Winsford.

📍 6th & 7th October, Apolonia, Apolonia (Denmark, co-production Poland)

Raised in a grassroots theatre in Paris, Apolonia has lived and breathed bohemian life and art since childhood. Now a talented and free-spirited painter, she tries her hand at navigating an often-unforgiving art world. Filmed over 13 years and infused with Apolonia’s raw energy, this IDFA-winning documentary vividly captures the story of a woman living life entirely on her own terms.

📍 6th-22nd October – Murals (Poland)

This immersive visual experience uses cutting-edge 3D scanning technology to place viewers face to face with the war devastation in Ukraine, capturing Banksy’s artwork left on the rubble of people’s homes, schools and infrastructure. Participants can experience these powerful images, which tackle warfare and destruction while also finding hope and determination in those caught up in the maelstrom of conflict.

Using an advanced oil painting animation technique, and from the producers of Oscar-nominated Loving Vincent and Oscar-winning Peter & the Wolf, The Peasants is a visually thrilling rendering of Władysław Reymont’s Nobel Prize-winning tale.

Jonathan Glazer investigates the domestic dream of Nazi Germany in this brilliantly penetrating rethink of Holocaust cinema, inspired by the Martin Amis novel.
