Exploring Grief and Loss Through Art

Featuring three Polish artists based in London as part of a a group exhibition that explores artists’ experience of loss and grief in contemporary art practice.

24th January – 23rd February 2024, Willesden Gallery, 95 High Road, Willesden, NW10 2SF

24th January, 6pm – Vernisage, Open to All

A group exhibition pesenting a wide variety of interpretations and reactions of artists to the topic of trauma, suffering, and the loss of a loved one.

It is an important subject which in “western culture”, is pushed to the sidelines of societal discourse.

The curator of the exhibition is Nadia Nervo.

Among the artists whose works have been qualified for the exhibition are 3 Polish artists living in London: Paweł Kordaczka, Henryk Terpilowski and Elżbieta Smoleńska. (All of whom are members of the APA, The Association of Polish Artists in Great Britain APA (apauk.org)).
