6th International Karol Lipiński Violin Competition awaits your submissions!

Born between 1989 - 2005 and a devoted violinist? Why not take your chances and submit your application for the 6th International Karol Lipiński Violin Competition. The deadline is the 3rd of June 2024. Best of luck!

The 6th edition of International Karol Lipiński Violin Competition, organized by the Toruń Symphony Orchestra will take place between the 27th September – 6th October in Toruń, Poland.

The jury will be chaired by prof. Daniel Stabrawa, a renowned violinist and conductor who filled the role of Berliner Philharmoniker (Berlin Philharmonic)‘s concertmaster for 35 years.

This year, the prize pool is as follows:

  • 1st place – 15,000 EUR
  • 2nd place – 10,000 EUR
  • 3rd place – 6,000 EUR
  • 3x distinction prizes – 2,000 EUR each

The prizes will also include non-statutory ones.

The contest is open to violinists of any nationality, born between 1989-2005.

The submission deadline is the 3rd of June, 2024.
