National Centre for Writing Emerging Translator Mentorship Programme 2025 – Mentees Announced

The Polish Cultural Institute is proud to support this fantastic mentorship programme for emerging translators. Read more about this year's mentees, including, uniquely, two Polish mentees this year: Monika Zaleska and Kasia Laganowska.

Congratulations to the new mentees selected for the Emerging Translator Mentorships 2025 by the National Centre for Writing! Among them Polish mentee Monika Zaleska who will be mentored by Sean Gasper Bye as well as Kasia Laganowska, who also translates from Polish and was selected through the non-language specific mentorship strand for a chronically ill translator and will be mentored by Annie Rutherford.
