 Literary encounter will focus on the figure of Irena Sendler and on the new book about her life which was published in Hebrew

Literary encounter on Wednesday, February 24 at 19:00 will focus on the figure of Irena Sendler and on the new book about her life

which was published in Hebrew.

The encounter will be on Zoom in Hebrew.

 

Registration to the meeting 

 

 Irena Sendler (February, 1910 – May, 2008) was a Polish social worker who resisted the Nazis during World War II and helped saving Jewish children for which she was awarded

the title of Righteous Among the Nations and the honorary citizenship of the State of Israel.

The encounter will be dedicated to the book “Madame Sendler” by Anna Bikont which was published in 2017 and quite recently translated into Hebrew

by Miriam Borenstein and published by Carmel Publishers House.
