Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival

The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival will introduce the voices of up-and-coming talents representing the future generation of filmmakers in Israel and around the world, among those, four young Polish producers

The Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival (TISFF) that will be held on 20-26 June 2021 invites you to take part in this festive week, to see and hear the voices of up-and-coming talents representing the future generation of filmmakers in Israel and around the world.

Among the artists from the world, 4 young Polish producers will participate in the Festival:

The festival holds five major competitions: The International Competition, The Israeli Competition, The Short Independent Film Competition, LookOut: The Experimental Film & Video Program and The Digital Media International Exhibition & Competition.

TISFF supports and promotes young filmmakers in their first steps in the world of filmmaking, with more than 200 short films from over 30 countries around the world competing. The festival prizes are the highest awarded in the field of student filmmaking. TISFF is in close contact with the international film industry and promotes unmediated dialogue between filmmakers all over the world.

The festival also hosts various film events: artist workshops, masterclasses, social projects, parties, exhibitions and conferences. The international and local film industry attends the festival and nurtures the young filmmakers and the wide audience of critics who come to the Tel Aviv Cinematheque.

Tribute to Andrzej Wajda and Young Polish

As part of the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, films from Poland will be presented that connect the generation of World War II with the youth of the 21st century through stories of identity, memory, and coming of age in times of crisis.

The Polish Institute in Tel Aviv is pleased to present a selection of Polish films (as well as regional co-productions) featured in the 2026 edition of the International Documentary Film Festival Docaviv.

Polish film at the Jerusalem Jewish Film

The film “Cywia and Rachel” by Rafaël Lewandowski, which explores the lives of Rachel Auerbach and Cywia Lubetkin and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, will participate this year in the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. The festival will focus on Jewish identity and culture and will present dozens of films and special events during the Hanukkah holiday.
