This City is Clean of Jews – The destruction of Pomeranian Jews  

A special discussion and the opening of a new exhibition dealing with the destruction of Pomeranian Jews at Stutthof concentration camp museum  

A special discussion and the opening of a new exhibition dealing with the destruction of Pomeranian Jews will take place at Stutthof concentration camp museum.

The event includes guests from Poland and from Israel.  

‘This city is clean of Jews’ is a new exhibition at the Stutthof Museum which will focus on the destruction of Pomeranian Jewry and the history of the concentration camp.

It will open on March 1 2022 in a special discussion which is the result of a cooperation between the Polish Institute, Yad Mordechai Museum, and the Stutthof Museum.

Join us at 9:30 a.m. at Kibbutz Yad Mordechai for this special event which will include guest speakers from Poland and Israel.  

The day will include the opening of the exhibition, sharing testimonies of inmates from Stutthof Camp, a discussion of the various program the Stutthof Museum holds,

and the museum as a case study of the preparation taken to teach Israeli youth before they embark on an educational mission in Poland.  

The Polish lectures will be translated into Hebrew.

The activity presents the sites, figures, and stories that reveal the contribution of the Jewish community from Poland to the establishment of Tel Aviv and the shaping of the State of Israel in its early years.
