The Women Behind Ringelblum – An event for International Women’s Day  

A meeting that will deal with the Jewish legacy of Poland, led by Dr. Katarzyna Person, will focus on the women behind the Ringelblum archieve and their role during the Holocaust  

The encounter will deal with the Jewish legacy of Poland and will be led by Dr. Katarzyna Person and will focus on the women behind the Ringelblum archieve

and their efforts during the Holocaust to preserve these important materials.  

The encounter will take place on Monday March 7 at 19:00 and is part of the series Mondays with JHI-Polish Talks which allows the public to encounter meaningful issues from

Poland’s Jewish past.  

This meeting is part of our ongoing cooperation with the Morshet Center, the JHI, and the union of Israeli guides in Poland.  

Admission is free but please register online to participate.  

The meeting will discuss the roles women took upon themselves to rescue the materials collected by Emanuel Ringelblum during the German occupation of Poland and hidden underground.  

Moderator: Noam Leibman.  

Dr. Parson’s book on the children concentration camp in Lodz is meant to be published in 2022.

A Conference “Poland–Israel: Roots, Community and Future”

Two days of dialogue and cooperation between communities, institutions and individuals from Poland and Israel. The conference will take place on 18–19 June 2026 at the Ennis Cultural Center in Jaffa and will serve as a platform for discussion and strengthening ties between Poland and Israel.

We are very happy to finally return to routine with our “Polish Tel Aviv” tours! The program presents the places, figures, and stories that reveal the contribution of the Jewish community from Poland to the founding of Tel Aviv and the shaping of the State of Israel in its early years.
