The EU gave birth to the European market, one market without borders, which seeks to realize the four freedoms. Free movement of people, goods, wealth, and services. The space of the EU is 4.5 million square km and 445 mil souls (in 2020).

In 2012 the EU won the Noble Peace prize for 60 years of contributing to peace democracy and human rights in Europe.
