The European Union marks Europe Day on May 12 2022 with a performance of Ivri Lider at Wohl Amphitheater at Tel Aviv

The European Union marks Europe Day on May 12 2022 with a performance of Ivri Lider at Wohl Amphitheater at Tel Aviv at 19:30.

Alongside the main performance, guest star Ukrainian singer Viktoria Leleka will perform with her band Leléka.

Formed in 2009, the EU is a union of 27 European countries which, together, are the third-largest population in the world. The EU has some traits of a super state, among them a joint parliament, laws, economy, and even a shared currency (the Euro) for some member states.

The EU gave birth to the European market, one market without borders, which seeks to realize the four freedoms. Free movement of people, goods, wealth, and services. The space of the EU is 4.5 million square km and 445 mil souls (in 2020).

In 2012 the EU won the Noble Peace prize for 60 years of contributing to peace democracy and human rights in Europe.

The EU honors peace, equality, and freedom and works to promote them in Ukraine, all EU countries and the world.
