Young cinematic works from Poland at the Tel Aviv Student Festival

Four movies created by film students from Poland will be screened as part of the Tel Aviv International Film Festival (TISFF) - a cooperation which allows the students to participate at the various activities the festival offers and get the chance to deepen their respective dialog and future cooperation.

No less than four movies by film students from Poland will be screened as part of the Tel Aviv International Film Festival (TISFF) this year.

The line-up includes Resurrection by Luiza Budejko (Gdynia Film School), This Will Not Be A Festival Film by Julia Orlik (The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz –

PNFT Lodz), A Dead Marriage by Michał Toczek and Devil by Jan Bujnowski (both from (PNFT Lodz).

The Polish students are participating in TISFF thanks to the support of Polish Institute Tel Aviv, within this framework, they will take part in the various activities the festival offers. This includes

meeting peers within the Israeli students of film, exchanging opinions, ideas, and concepts from the Israeli and Polish film-making worlds, benefiting both sides and jointly considering future

projects.

 

Dates of Screenings:

Resurrection – Sunday, June 25, 9:30 p.m.

This Will Not Be A Festival Film – Sunday, June 25, 3:30 p.m.

A Dead Marriage – Tuesday, June 27, 1 p.m.

Devil – Wednesday, June 28, 9 p.m.

 

All screenings will take place at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque (5 HaArbaa St.)

Polish film at the Jerusalem Jewish Film

The film “Cywia and Rachel” by Rafaël Lewandowski, which explores the lives of Rachel Auerbach and Cywia Lubetkin and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, will participate this year in the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. The festival will focus on Jewish identity and culture and will present dozens of films and special events during the Hanukkah holiday.
