How to immerse yourself in language through culture? Can you learn a language by watching films and listening to music? What role does culture play in language learning and how to disenchant boring grammar exercises with the help of cultural texts?

Dr. Michał Pruszak from the University of Gdańsk will talk about all this during his lecture!

The lecture is aimed at the Polish-speaking community and those learning Polish in Israel.

The lecutre will be held in Polish, but the level of the language and presentation of the material will be adapted to an audience, including Polish learners.

Dr. Michał Pruszak – graduate of Polish Philology at Nicolaus Copernicus University, film expert, educator,  Polish teacher as a foreign language. He completed his Doctoral Studies in Philology at the University of Gdańsk. Author of publications in the field of film and children’s literature and translations of intersemiotic cultural texts (literature-theatre-film). Examiner during certificate exams in Polish as a foreign language. He permanently cooperates with the New Horizons of Film Education Foundation and the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre.
