Opera "Gopalna" by Władysław Żeleński, produced by Lyric Opera to be staged at the Jerusalem YMCA

An unforgettable and emotional evening! The Polish composer Władysław Żeleński composed his opera “Goplana” inspired by a fairy tale based on the play “Balladyna” by a Polish national poet Juliusz Słowacki. It’s a story about lust for power, love and hate. “Goplana” undoubtedly belongs to the best works of Polish music.
