Back to routine with the “Polish Tel Aviv” tours

We are very happy to finally return to routine with our “Polish Tel Aviv” tours! The program presents the places, figures, and stories that reveal the contribution of the Jewish community from Poland to the founding of Tel Aviv and the shaping of the State of Israel in its early years.

During the tour, we will explore the claim that Polish Jews played a central role in building the State of Israel: who they were, when and how they arrived, and how they maintained ties with Polish culture.

Led by Israeli-Polish historian and tour guide Jan Kirschenbaum, we will walk along Allenby Street and learn about key Polish-Jewish figures, institutions, and sites, including the Ada and Edmund Neustein Bookstore, the Polish-Palestinian Chamber of Commerce, and the local PKO bank branch.

The tour will be held in Hebrew and will last approximately two hours. The starting and ending point is the entrance to Beit Psagot , 3 Rothschild Blvd., Tel Aviv. Refreshments and wine will be served at the Polish Institute following the tour.

Participation is free of charge, but advance registration is required – the number of places is limited.

Saturday, May 23 | 10:00 | The tour is fully booked

Saturday, May 23 | 14:00 | Registration
