After months of meetings dedicated to literature, photography, identity, and life between Poland and Israel, the series left the library space for the first time and moved to the beach. There was no shortage of long conversations, laughter, shared food, and opportunities to meet people who—although living in the same country—often only have a chance to connect during such events. The shared table quickly became a place of conversation and exchange of experiences, while the beach atmosphere encouraged both reunions with friends and forming new relationships.
We are delighted that so many people attended the event. We were especially pleased that, alongside participants who regularly join our activities, we were also able to welcome many new guests. We hope that this meeting will be the beginning of further shared initiatives and an opportunity to continue building the Polish community in Israel.
We thank all participants for their presence, the shared food, the wonderful atmosphere, and the positive energy. See you at the next “Polish Encounters” in September!
