We are currently looking for

Cultural Project Manager

to develop and coordinate projects with a particular focus on contemporary Polish artistic creation. The position includes supporting the organisation and production of major Polish Institute events across a wider range of cultural fields, working closely with other members of the Institute’s team.

This is a part-time position (75% / 3/4 full-time equivalent)
based in the office in the heart of Tel Aviv.

Main Responsibilities

• Developing, coordinating and managing cultural projects with a focus on contemporary Polish culture.
• Developing and maintaining partnerships with Israeli and Polish cultural institutions, festivals, venues, artists and other sector partners.
• Identifying artists and artistic projects suitable for the Israeli cultural context and developing new project ideas.
• Managing project budgets, contracts, logistics and administrative procedures in accordance with the Institute’s rules.
• Coordinating event production, including venues, technical requirements, artist travel, accommodation and on-site arrangements.
• Supporting the planning, organisation and production of major Institute events across different cultural fields.
• Working closely with colleagues on multidisciplinary projects and providing practical and production support before and during events.
• Building and maintaining a professional network within the Israeli and Polish cultural sector.
• Representing the Polish Institute at relevant meetings, festivals, conferences and cultural events.
• Working with the Institute’s communications team on the promotion and communication of projects.
• Monitoring the Israeli and Polish cultural scene and relevant trends and opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in cultural management, arts administration, music, dance, performing arts, cultural studies, communications or a related field;
• Proven professional experience in cultural project management, event production or arts administration;
• Good knowledge of the Israeli cultural sector and/or experience working with Israeli cultural institutions and partners will be an advantage;
• Experience in organising concerts, performances, festivals or other cultural events;
• Excellent organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously;
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and solve problems efficiently;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with artists, cultural institutions, public-sector partners and other stakeholders;
• Experience with project budgets, contracts and administrative procedures;
• Excellent command of Hebrew;
• Very good command of English;
• Good command of standard office and project-management software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong interest in contemporary Polish culture and the Polish cultural scene;
• Good knowledge of the music, dance and/or performing arts sectors;
• Knowledge of Polish will be an advantage;
• Experience in international or multicultural working environments.
