Considered to be one of the most prestigious competitions in classical music, the International Chopin Piano Competition, held in Warsaw every five years since 1927, has been a career launchpad for the world’s greatest piano virtuosos.
Pianoforte navigates its way through the multi-stage competition alongside a selection of 2021’s elite young hopefuls.
We plunge deep into this world of nuanced notes and high drama, in a riveting, adrenaline rush of a film. The pressure is enormous, the practice is exacting, the performances are ecstatic.
