Experience the powerful vocals and dynamic energy of Marta Carillon as she pays tribute to legendary jazz divas Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Norah Jones, and Aretha Franklin, with a modern twist.

The talented quintet will take you on a journey through reimagined classics and original arrangements that will leave you wanting more.

Marta Carillon is a professional singer, pianist, composer, and educator based in London. She holds a degree from the prestigious Fryderyk Chopin University and has received extensive training at renowned institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, New York Vocal Coaching, and Berklee College of Music. Marta has demonstrated her exceptional soloist skills at esteemed venues including the National Theatre in London, Vienna Theatre, Sala Kongresowa, and National Opera in Poland. She has also graced the stages of various musical theatre productions across Europe. Notably, Marta has performed at some of the finest jazz venues in London. Presently, she captivates audiences with her Marta Carillon Quintet, performing diverse programs. Additionally, she serves as a highly sought-after session musician, collaborating with music producers from around the globe to create captivating sounds. Furthermore, Marta’s talents extend beyond performance as she is an accomplished composer. Her musical prowess is showcased in her two full-length albums, “Flying in Silence” and “Soulmates.

Chris Neill is an award-winning pianist who plays in a diverse range of musical styles, but whose first love is jazz. He has played at most of London’s top venues and has worked with internationally renowned performers. Having trained classically simultaneous to receiving jazz tuition, Chris’s style is an extremely versatile blend of the two disciplines, lending him an extremely sought-after style, whether in a big band context, solo context, or anything in-between. He also works as a songwriter, session musician and producer.

Marek Tomaszewski studied saxophone for many years in Poland and then at the prestigious London Guildhall School of Music & Drama. He has gathered over 20 years’ experience playing in different environments, which has allowed him to grow as a musician and as a tutor. He is a part and co-leader of different music projects working in Londo. He was also a lead guest soloist in Peter Eotvos “Total Immersion” event that had its UK premiere in London’s Barbican Music Hall. What is more, he continues to share his extended experience in classical and jazz music through private tuition in London.

Flo Moore is an associate of the Royal Academy of Music in London. She has performed with many established artists and played at venues such as the 02 Academy Brixton, Royal Albert Hall, North Sea Jazz Festival, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Sage Gateshead, Birmingham Symphony Hall, and National Concert Hall Dublin. She has recorded on tracks featuring Simon Phillips, Frank Gambale, Chad Wackerman, Dean Brown, and Barry Finnerty and worked with Grammy award winning producer Jason Miles (Chaka Khan, Miles Davis) on two albums.

Gaetano Di Giacomo, originally from Italy, studied drums and percussion in Bologna before obtaining a degree in Drums and Music Performance from Trinity College after moving to the UK. In the early part of his career, Gaetano cut his teeth working on the jazz and pop scene travelling extensively and performing at festivals and venues in various countries. It wasn’t long before Gaetano attracted the attention of the UK jazz scene’s top players. A versatile drummer, Gaetano takes an active role in many aspects of the London Jazz scene. He has performed with many of today’s British jazz top musicians. His receptiveness to all styles of music, combined with a deep knowledge of the roots of jazz, his dynamics and his attention to interplay with other musicians make him one of the most interesting drummers in London today.
