Peter Jablonski piano concert @ Wigmore Hall – Szymanowski, Bacewicz, Stevenson

A chance to see acclaimed pianist Peter Jablonski, a global ambassador of the acclaimed Polish composer Karol Szymanowski, play works by some of Poland's greatest composers.

21st September, 1pm, Wigmore Hall

Swedish pianist Peter Jablonski, who is also half Polish, will play a programme filled with Polish connections: Scottish piano virtuoso Ronald Stevenson’s suite on Paderewski’s sole opera (Jablonski’s recording of selected piano works by Stevenson is released on Online on 4 October 2024), a selection of works by Szymanowski, and the intricate Second Sonata (1953) of Grażyna Bacewicz, whose works for piano and piano and orchestra he recently recorded to great critical acclaim.
