The 53rd Polish Ball

Open to all, the traditional Polish Ball is a highlight in the calendar of the UK's Polish community. A charitable event, the ball's aim is also the building of British-Polish relations. Buy your tickets now.

The Ball is one of the most prestigious events in the calendar of British Polonia.

The Ball is a fundraising event and each year, money is raised for various charitable causes. This year, the beneficiaries will be the Hospice of Father Eugeniusz Dutkiewicz in Gdansk (Hospicjum Dutkiewicza).

One of the aims of the ball is to promote Polish culture and history in the UK as well as to consolidate Polish-British relations. Because of this, each year there is a theme to the ball which is either a historical event or an important cultural figure. Last year, this was the Reszke brothers. This year, the theme will be Johannes Hevelius (Jan Heweliusz).

Polish Culture Festival in the UK @

The Polish Social and Cultural Centre (POSK) and the Pomysłodalnia Foundation have launched an open call for UK-based Polish poets and artists to join the inaugural "Polish, Very Polish" festival in London from 12–20 September 2026. Submissions for the digital anthology and live poetry slam are open until 31 July 2026.
