Between Bow and Key, Violin & Piano Concert

Acclaimed musicians the Polish Violin Duo join forces with renowned pianist Artur Haftman for a unique concert at 6pm on Saturday 28th June.

Come along for an extraordinary evening of music featuring the acclaimed Polish Violin Duo, comprised of violinists Marta Gidaszewska and Robert Łaguniak. Known internationally for their virtuosic performances and dedication to showcasing both classical and lesser-known works, the Duo brings their passionate artistry and nearly 200 international competition awards to the stage.

Joining them for this special performance is internationally celebrated pianist Artur Haftman, renowned for his deeply expressive interpretations of Chopin and extensive global concert career. Together, this powerful collaboration promises a program rich in musical depth and dynamic artistry.

Polish Fashion Stories: Unexpected Encounter – Batik

The earliest known examples of Polish batiks appeared around 1903 at an exhibition in Kraków, when the artist Jan Bukowski presented furniture upholstered in textiles decorated with what was called then “a manner of Easter eggs” - it was before the term batik had even entered the Polish language. From this point, other Kraków artists began to further explore the technique and its possibilities.
