We are delighted to spotlight Lubaina Himid with Magda Stawarska: Another Chance Encounter – a captivating new exhibition at Kettle’s Yard, Cambridge. From now until 2 November 2025, step into a vibrant, playful, and profoundly engaging collaboration between two visionary artists.
Explore fresh paintings, immersive installations, and subtle “interventions” within the intimate spaces of the Kettle’s Yard house that probe the silences in our personal and collective narratives. Himid, a leading figure in the British Black Arts movement, invites us to question who is left out of stories, what objects endure as evidence… and what remains unspoken.
