Every year on the first weekend of August, Poznan’s main square fills with a vivid procession of colour: women and girls in towering floral headpieces, sculptural skirts and ribbons that catch the light as they move. It is a celebration of a community that once arrived as migrants and gradually became woven into the region’s cultural fabric.
