Secret War Tour at Audley End

Discover more about the location were soldiers of the Polish army known as the 'Cichociemni' were trained during WWII.

26th May, 11am – 12.30pm and 1 .30 – 3pm, Audley End House

Discover a little about Audley End during World War II when it was ‘Special training school 43’. Station 43 was used by the Polish army, it is an important site where we can remember the ‘Cichociemni’ .

You will hear about the Special Operations Executive training activities and some of the individuals stationed here.

This event is graded as moderate access, as the tour involves some walking and may include some stairs or uneven terrain. Part of this tour takes place outside, so please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
