The Łodz Film School Intensive Workshops is an international programme of film courses and masterclasses dedicated to directors, cinematographers, animators, and audiovisual artists.

Designed for film students, graduates, and emerging filmmakers, the workshops combine artistic mentorship, practical production experience, critical reflection, and collaborative experimentation within the professional environment of one of the world most renowned film schools – a place historically connected with generations of influential filmmakers, cinematographers, and visual artists.

This hands-on programme connects you with active, world-renowned film professionals for direct mentorship and feedback. Working in small, collaborative groups, you will bring your projects to life using industry-standard studios and specialized equipment. The curriculum dives deep into filmmaking essentials, including directing, cinematography, animation development, visual storytelling, and contemporary cinematic styles.

Experience the core teaching philosophy of the Łodz Film School through hands-on creative practice. These intensive workshops bridge the gap between artistic research, practical filmmaking, and bold experimentation. You will develop your unique voice, authorship, and cinematic language through scene-based directing labs, cinematography masterclasses, animation development, and hybrid audiovisual projects.
