Top British historian discusses his inspirations, recommendations and exciting new project in an interview for the Polish Cultural Institute.
Roger Moorhouse, historian and author specialising in modern German history, has been for years showcasing a factual approach to the role of Poland in World War II. His latest book ‘First to Fight’ discusses in depth the start of war and Polish defensive campaign of September 1939.
He is the co-author, with Norman Davies, of Microcosm: Portrait of a Central European City, and the author of Killing Hitler, Berlin at War, The Third Reich in 100 Objects and The Devils’ Alliance.
Roger Moorhouse took some time in his busy schedule to give us recommendations, discuss his inspirations, favourite historical figures and most importantly give a glimpse into his newest project.
