When words fail music speaks. Renowned artists and composers come together to support and raise funds for the SOS Children Villages’ Ukraine Appeal, in hope that this contribution can bring some solace to thousands of refugee children affected by the conflict.

The programme features a selection of music pieces by renowned composers who themselves experienced the fate of migrants, refugees, and were vocal critics of war and violence.

Nicholas Daniel OBE (oboe), Lucas Krupinski (piano), Leticia Muñoz Moreno (violin), Kacper Nowak (celo), Yuliya Ostapchuk (violin), Kathryn Rudge (mezzo-soprano), and Maria Tarasewicz (piano) will be joined by a string quartet of LSO musicians and the Orion Orchestra musicians expressing solidarity with Ukrainian people fighting for their freedom.

With Introduction from Robert Rinder MBE and hosted by BBC’s Kasia Madera, programme includes:

This concert is organised by the Polish Cultural Institute in partnership with The Ludwig van Beethoven Association, Marylebone Music Festival, LSO, Orion Orchestra, Lady Camila Panufnik, Roxanna Panufnik, and Wigmore Hall with the support of the Marylebone Hotel, Kulczyk Foundation and Wiszniewski Family.
