Award-winning Monodrama – Intruder/Intruz at Camden People’s Theatre – 15th March

An award-winning solo play by Remi Rachuba about a Polish man who moved from Poland to Scotland to pursue his dreams of becoming an actor, but became the victim of a violent attack which almost ruined his life.

Following his dream, Remi moves to Scotland to become an actor. An ugly and vicious attack almost ruins his life…

Remi Rachuba

Actor/Writer/Producer: REMI RACHUBA – Remi, a native Pole, having initially studied teaching English, participated in acting courses in Warsaw, London, New York, Moscow before settling in Scotland and finally being accepted to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His first professional job was performing in a dreamthinkspeak’s site-specific production titled ‘Before I Sleep’ presented at 2010 Brighton Theatre Festival, awarded with Peter Brook Best Ensemble Award and subsequently presented at the Holland Festival in 2011. He has also performed in dreamthinkspeak’s ‘The Rest is Silence’, ‘In the Beginning was the End’ and ‘Absent’. Remi also worked with Katie Mitchell on ‘Lucia di Lammermoor’ at the Royal Opera House in 2016 and 2017. In August 2022 he premiered his bilingual (English-Polish) solo-play, ‘Intruder/Intruz,’ at Summerhall, Fringe where the play received an extension. Remi performed 2 language versions of the play, English and Polish. The play was subsequently performed in London (POSK), Warsaw (Teatr 2 Strefa) and is going to be performed at Theatre503 in December 2022. Additionally, since graduating Remi has participated in a production at the Traverse Theatre titled ‘The Builders’ with Plutot La Vie and toured with a T.I.E production of ‘Pinocchio’. He’s participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus at the Berlin International Film Festival. www.remirachuba.com
