Interview with Anna Duczmal-Mróz on BBC Radio 4

Renowned Conductor Anna Duczmal-Mróz will be featured on BBC Radio 4 on August 17th in a program titled 'How to Play: Saint-Saens Symphony No.3'

The program is called How to Play: Saint-Saens Symphony No.3  and it features Anna alongside the London Mozart Players

Anna Duczmal-Mróz, a prominent Polish conductor, has been the Principal Conductor of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of the Polish Radio since 2009, touring worldwide and recording Polish music. The orchestra was originally founded by her mother, Agnieszka Duczmal, in 1968. Anna has led concerts with various orchestras in numerous countries and collaborated with major orchestras in Poland. She made her debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the National Orchestral Institute Philharmonic in the USA in July 2022. Anna is a strong advocate for Polish music, both in Poland and abroad, and is known for her pioneering recordings of Mieczysław Weinberg’s chamber symphonies. Anna’s musical journey began as a violinist, and her talent as a conductor was discovered during her studies in Hannover, leading to her successful career in conducting.
