Ukrainian Film Festival – Side by Side

The UK's fourth annual Ukrainian Film Festival presented by the Ukrainian Institute London at Curzon Soho.

14th-17th September, various times, Curzon Soho, London

A collection of award-winning films from Ukraine’s brightest filmmaking talent.

The Ukrainian Institute London is proud to present Side by Side, the UK’s fourth annual Ukrainian Film Festival featuring five powerful film screenings.

The festival is a unique window into contemporary Ukraine, the astonishing resilience of its people, and the power of mutual support and solidarity in the face of war.

This year’s programme foregrounds themes of humanity and compassion in the darkest of times, the strength of the human spirit in simple things, and the warmth of love in contexts where it wouldn’t seem to exist.

With this programme, the festival will invite audiences to stand in solidarity with Ukraine and discover the country’s brave and innovative cinema.

The programme has been curated by Olga Sidorushkina, the Ukrainian Institute London’s Film Festival Fellow.

The 2023 Ukrainian Film Festival is supported by British Land, SAY Property, Principle Clean, HUB, Novotel, Paddington and Jaguar Building Services.
